Private housing for a designer couple in the rurals of Turkey

The project site is in an almost enclosed biodistrict with farmland with very low-density homes surrounded by protected and wildlife-supporting specific oak trees.

Efficient use of all resources and domestic production is very valuable due to its distance from the nearest resources. Topography determines strong wind currents in NE-SW directions.

The project uses straw bales with wood carcasses as the load-bearing structure. The walls are earth plaster and different techniques such as rain gardens are used throughout the project.
